Quicksand about 1926 - after the wood mills were torn out and everything was still a mess. Note at right the depot had not yet been torn down, but it was about to be. Note the large barn across the bridge. It stood until new Highway 15 was extended in 1963. The office building at left also stood until about 1959. The large store on the other side of the street from the office building stood until about 1965. Part of its back section yet remains.
