This is the
grave of Edward Callahan "Red Ned" Strong, former judge
and sheriff of Breathitt County and a first cousin to Captain
Bill Strong. While the cousins generally got along well together,
they opposed each other during the Civil War and later during
the election of 1878, when Judge John Burnett was killed in Jackson.
