The Jackson Post Office and Federal Court House - about 1945. Located on Broadway Street in Jackson, this beautiful building was constructed between 1914 and 1916. On the first floor it once housed the Jackson Post Office. On the second story was once located the Federal Court Room for the Eastern Kentucky District. Third floor once housed the Breathitt County Extension Office. In the 1980's the building was sold to the Breathitt County Health Dept. and today houses that organization.
