A dinky log train is shown in this 1910 scene as it crosses the Panhandle. The tracks led from the L&E tracks to Camp Cristy, an early lumber camp in the Strongs Fork part of Frozen Creek. The tracks were taken up after the operations moved to Quicksand about 1912. Note the river on both sides of the Panhandle.
