Panbowl Assembly Of God Church Dedication (1)
(Placed July 12, 2001)

Dedication of the Panbowl Assembly of God Church. The large crowd attending the ceremonies is seen here leaving the church at the conclusion of festivities.

The dedication service of the newly completed church at Panbowl was held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 2nd.

The dedicatory address was delivered by Mrs. J. Roswell Flower of Springfield, Missouri. She is the wife of the secretary of the General Council of the Churches of God. Miss L. Heidorn and Miss P. Foster, co-pastors at Frozen Creek, also participated in the service.

Mrs. Flower said that back of every accomplishment was faith, consecration, and sacrifice. She traced the Ark of the Covenant from the first of God's buildings (the tabernacle in the wilderness) to its final resting place in King Solomon's temple.

The speaker pointed out that the building of a churchhouse required a vision and work to make the vision come true. She said a dedication is the gift of the house to God and of the people within the house to the service of God.
