Lees College, main building, photo made by A.S. Sizemore about 1921. The building was built in the 1880s from brick made on the grounds. The building has been restored and yet remains an important part of the campus of Lees College. Its founder, Rev. James J. Dickey, is noted today for his famous Dickey Diary, a collection of several thousand pages of important daily happenings and genealogy facts about the region in and around Breathitt County.
