 Letha
Raleigh, the daughter of George W. and Jane "Jenny"
Sizemore Raleigh, was born October 16, 1901, and died June 17,
1989, at the Nim Henson Nursing Home in Jackson. She married
Sam Strong, the son of Edward "Neddy" and Patsy Clay
Strong of Sulphur Gap. Letha and Sam were my paternal grandparents,
and both are now deceased. This photo was taken in January 1986,
just three years before her death. |
