Mr. and Mrs. Roger W. Jones were guests at a surprise open house at their home in Quicksand Sunday afternoon, March 16th, celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary. Hosts for the occasion were their children: Roger, Anne, Martha, and Robert Jones, with neighbors Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Poe.

Bouquets of spring flowers were used throughout the house. In the dining room the lace-covered table was lovely with an antique bone china bowl of white glads and Shasta daises. A three-tiered wedding cake, topped by the traditional blue and silver wedding slipper, was cut by Mrs. H. June Jett. Mrs. A. W. Brown poured tea.

Beautiful gifts of silver from friends were displayed in the dining room.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Adkins of Georgetown and Mary Ashbrook, a student at the University, were guests for the occasion. About 85 guests signed the guest book during the afternoon.
