Jefferson Hotel on Main Street. Built in 1911 by Charles Jefferson Little, the old hotel still stands. However, it is empty today. The porch was removed years ago. It is told that C.J. Little, a former sheriff of Breathitt County, went broke while building the Jefferson. He is noted as being the builder of the first brick house in Jackson. It was torn down a few years ago. Note the fancy iron work, also the iron fence. (Photo by A.S. Sizemore)
