College Ave. and beyond as seen from Town Hill. Several things have changed since this photo was made in 1976. The J.R. Blake Building (the white building at right) is gone. So too is the old gas station which once was located on the corner of College and Brown Street. In the far beyond note that SMS school has not been built yet. The Highway office had a flat room as did the old Eric Pelfrey building. Some buildings which burned on College Ave. a little later may be seen at left.
