Funeral Rites For Cecil Honn Held At Noctor Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at 2:00 at the Palmer Memorial Church, Noctor, for James Cecil Honn of Quicksand, who died last Saturday of injuries received in an accident early last week. Mr. Honn died at Homeplace Hospital, where he was taken following the accident. According to reports, he suffered fatal injuries to his back and head when a log rolled from a truck he was helping to unload, pinning him with its weight. He was employed by the Grigsby Lumber Company of Jackson. Born February 14, 1900, Mr. Honn was the son of J. W. Honn of Magoffin County. He was married April 21, 1931, at Clay City and his wife, Mrs. Pearl Honn, survives, as do two daughters, Elizabeth Ann and Sara Lee. Other survivors include his father, who resides at Stearns; five sisters: Mrs. Nell Spencer, Stearns; Mrs. James Caudill, West Liberty; Mrs. John Fugate, Carrier Mills; Mrs. Mack Keeton, Middletown, 0hio; and Mrs. Damon King, Knox, Indiana; and four brothers: Gordan Honn, Calvert City; Byron Honn, Pomp; Grover Honn, Paintsville; and James Honn, Knox, Indiana. The funeral rites were conducted by the Rev. Wilfrid Taylor, pastor of the Palmer Memorial Church. Interment was in the L. W. P. Bach Cemetery. Casketbearers were Lee Bach, John Bach, John Grigsby, Herman Grigsby, John Grigsby Jr., Ray Hunt, John Brown, Arthur Bach, John Alfred Chapman, James Herman Calhoun, Billy Keith and J. B. Little.
