In this photo
from November 1994, fall leaves decorate the desolate, lonely
grave of Captain Bill Strong in the Old Strong Family Cemetery
at Sulphur Gap, Breathitt County. This headstone was the original,
but has since been replaced by a new government marker in April
2000.
