When the Quicksand mills were going full-force! It's hard to believe when one visits the community of Quicksand today that this huge operation stood in what is today empty bottoms. These mills were just some which were located at Quicksand at the time. These stood in the bottoms along the river just opposite of the Quicksand Church and Wood Center Drive.
