On a Sunday ride. The nice photo, one of my favorite, depicts some Breathitt Countains out on a ride up the county road at Quicksand, about 1923. The old bridge, which crossed Quicksand Creek, was washed away by the May 30, 1927 Flood. It was replaced by the present bridge along the old Quicksand Road.
