Quicksand, Kentucky

The post office at Quicksand, Breathitt County, Kentucky was established as Quick Sand Mills on March 18, 1878. The name was changed to Quicksand on June 26, 1888, and it was discontinued on November 23, 1888.

The post office at Quicksand, Breathitt County, Kentucky was established on May 24, 1890. It was discontinued on May 7, 1895 and reestablished on May 23, 1906; discontinued on September 30, 1907 and reestablished on December 10, 1910.
