Highway 15 North, just beyond the office of the Kentucky Explorer in Jackson, has changed greatly since this photo was taken by your editor about 1975. The bottoms have been mostly filled in, and today several business are located along this, then, lonly strip. Hays Chev., Save-A-Lot, doctors and dentists' offices, Tire World, Shouse Mobile Homes, etc. are now found here. In this photo, the house (the Carl Back home) upon the hill still remains as does the white house below, center (although it has been moved).
