Main Street and Court Street - August 1973. Several changes have taken place since this photo. The block building at right which housed the Corner Lunch burned and has been remodeled. The First National Bank Building (center) has been remodeled with a new gable roof and front. Dr. Bays' office is located in what was then Gladway Furniture Co. Gone, too, are Mrs. Jalia Jett's store, the Jackson Drug Store, Redwine Shop, Deaton Brothers Farm Supply, Roses, and others.
