Four Jackson lankmarks can be seen in this photo from about 1953. Of course, the Morgan & Noble Gulf Station stood on the corner of Broadway and Highland Ave. Just to the left of it can be seen the white sides of the "Fox Hole" a small eating place. (Both of these are long-gone, and an empty parking lot now stands here.) To the left of the Fox Hole is Salyer's Chev. and then Stacy Hotel (still standing), both of which have been closed many years.
