Jackson lies in a great bend in the North Fork of the Kentucky River. Here we can see the downtown from about two miles away. At left is the river and following it is the Quicksand Road (old Highway 15). At top right may be seen Highway 15. Also, the bridge across the river (Highway 30) may seen at top right.
